Before you begin setting up Ledger Live and your hardware wallet, make sure you have:
A Ledger hardware wallet (Nano X, Nano S Plus, or Stax).
A desktop or mobile device with internet access.
A USB cable for wired connection (Bluetooth is available with Nano X/Stax on mobile).

Choose your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Download the installer and run it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Once installation is complete, open Ledger Live.
📱 Mobile (iOS / Android)
Search for Ledger Live in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — verify that the developer is Ledger.
Install the app.
Open Ledger Live and grant necessary permissions.

🆕 Set Up as New Device

NEVER enter your recovery phrase into Ledger Live or any external software.
🔄 Restore an Existing Wallet
Choose “Restore from recovery phrase” if you already have a 24-word phrase.
Enter the recovery phrase only on the Ledger device (not in the app).
Once your Ledger device is set up and connected:
Open Ledger Live and go to the Accounts section.
Click Add Account.
Choose the crypto asset you want (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Ledger Live will scan the blockchain and show you your account.
Repeat this process to add multiple accounts for different cryptocurrencies.
Select an account in Ledger Live.
Click Receive.
Unlock your Ledger device.
Open the corresponding app on your Ledger device.
Verify that the address shown in Ledger Live matches the one on your Ledger device screen.
Use this address to receive funds.
